Is practice important?

After losing an NBA game the media questioned Allen Iverson about his coach’s comments on Allen’s practice habits. Allen’s response was famously promoted for emphatically saying,

“Practice?! Practice?! We in here talking about practice. Not a game, not a game, not a game, we talking about practice.”

does practice matter? What does the Bible say?

Practice is a choice. “Those who PRACTICE such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Gal. 5:21b). What is the Apostle Paul talking about?

You can practice by yourself and we can practice as a Network.

What are our options?

Option 1

Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and revelries. (Gal. 5:19-21)

Option 2

Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Gal. 5:22-23)

Imagine if the members of the NEXUS Mountain Network practiced the behaviors of Option 2. These behaviors will set up us for cohesion. Where there is UNITY God commands a blessing. (Ps. 133-13)

If you are struggling with something from the list in Option 1 ask the Lord why you are struggling, repent, forgive others, ask for forgiveness, and look for the substitute from the list in Option 2 and practice it. I will do the same.
